Registration & General Conference

SIIA’s 42nd Annual National Educational Conference & EXPO will occur October 9 - 11, 2022. It will be held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, in Phoenix, Arizona.


Registration for the SIIA 42nd Annual National Educational Conference & Expo is scheduled to open in mid-May.


Full conference registration includes admittance to on-site networking areas hosted food & beverage functions, eligible to reserve a discounted sleeping room, entry to the Exhibit Hall, as well as, access to all educational content.

*The Future Leaders Forum registration rate applies to those who are 39 and younger as of October 11, 2022. You will need to upload a copy of your government issued ID, to verify that you meet eligibility requirements. **A Self-Insured Employer is defined as an organization that is self-insured for group health care and/or workers compensation or is a captive insurance company/risk retention group. This also includes employers considering self-insurance/captive insurance. Self-insurance industry service providers including but not limited to TPAs, MGUs & captive management companies do not qualify for this registration rate even if their organization is self-insured. Registrations submitted by service providers selecting the employer rate will not be processed.


No. However, SIIA members do receive a discounted registration fee.

The attire for the conference is business casual.


  • All cancellations must be received in writing to registration@siia.org

  • Written cancellations received before June 23, 2022 will receive a refund of 50%

  • Written cancellations received between June 24 - September 9, 2022 will receive a refund of 25%.

  • Cancellations received after September 9, 2022, and those not in attendance are NOT eligible for a refund (due to staffing, food and beverage obligations no refund will be issued). 

  • Substitutions are permitted. You can transfer your registration through the Attendee Service Center, via email at registration@siia.org or call 800-851-7789.

All events and sessions will be held and are listed on the website at the local time in Phoenix, which is Mountain Time.


At this stage of the pandemic, it is SIIA’s view that everyone is sufficiently educated to make their own decisions regarding event attendance and health risk mitigation considerations.
 

In this regard, we are advising that there will be no vaccine requirement to attend, nor will there be a mask mandate. Of course, attendees are certainly welcome to wear masks if they would like to do so.


That said, if you have any reason to believe you are COVID positive or have been exposed, please do not come. Please also carefully consider your attendance plans if you have not been fully vaccinated or do not have natural immunity from a previous infection. SIIA’s published cancellation/substitution policy shall apply regardless of circumstance.


We continue to closely monitor local government mandates, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, and public health advancements.

Hotel reservations should be made in the Attendee Service Center. This can be done at the time of registration or added later (until the room block is sold out). Hotel rooms are confirmed on a first come, first served basis.


The rate for hotel rooms is $339.00 plus taxes per night.

Golf Tournament

The SIEF Golf Tournament Fundraiser, is scheduled for Sunday, October 9, the opening day of SIIA’s 42nd Annual National Conference & Expo. 

Please note that registration for the SIIA Conference is required in order to participate in the golf tournament, and the tournament is not included in conference registration fees.

Listed below are the Golf Tournament fees which include: Green Fees for 18 holes, Golf Cart, Continental Breakfast, Beverages and various prizes. Please note that golf clubs can be rented and picked up from the Pro Shop the morning of the tournament.
